Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should be processed with Times New Roman of font size 12, double-spaced and line numbered using A4 size paper. The sequence of organization of manuscripts should generally include: Title of the paper, surname followed by initials, address (es) of the author (s), e-mail and phone number of correspondence author. Abstract (250 words) and 4-6 Key words.
Introduction: This should include a brief statement of the problems and clear description of the justification, aims and objectives of the investigation or report.

Materials and Methods: This should be clearly stated in a way to permit the reproducibility of the work by other researchers. The experimental design and statistical tools used should be clearly described. The measurement instruments and tools used for independent and dependent variables should be stated.

Results and Discussion: It should contain the observed results and their interpretations. Results should be adequately described using tables, figures, chart, graphs e.t.c. Discussion of results must specifically show how the findings of the work address the problem(s) and objectives stated at the onset of study.

Conclusion and Recommendations: This section should contain the inferences drawn from the results of the study and appropriate recommendations made.
Acknowledgements: Author(s) may wish to state their appreciation to individuals or agencies or institutions that contributed in one way or the other to the study.

References: All references cited should be listed in the reference section in alphabetical order to include surname, initials, year of publication (in parenthesis), title, medium of publication (written in full and italics), journal volume and the first and last page in that order.
Tables and Figures: All accompanying tables, figures or photographs should be numbered and cited sequentially in the text. Authors should use the “insert table” format. The title of the table should be lower case letters (except the first letter). Avoid horizontal and vertical lines within the tables. The illustrations must be very sharp and clearly defined. Legends should not be on the photographic illustrations but should be typed on a separate page accompanying the figures. Graphs should be prepared in clear reproducible camera-ready forms of printing.
